Sherry's update on life ;)
Wow, time sure flies when you're having fun.
3 more weeks till examination, 4 more weeks till VCE chinese 3&4 examination, aren't we all looking forward to that day? ;) Little did you know, 5 days after VCE examination would be the day I return to Malaysia! Hopefully I'll still be remembered! After a year of spending christmas & chinese new year in Melbourne. LOL, I have to agree with all Malaysian chinese on this one.. Chinese New Year is better off spent in Malaysia. Vibe & atmosphere sure is different compared to Melbourne's . :)
Aww.. I'm longing for 25th of November to arrive.. can't wait! can't wait! :)
However, before getting all fired up and turned on by the thought, I ought to be studying ultra hard for the upcoming examination. :)
So much to do, So little time
Recently I came across an article on vce examination. "Don't put your umbrella up before it rains" Yes, Welcome to the VCE world... a potentionally crazy and chaotic place where students are consumed with preperation for final exams. :) Lucky for me, I've only got one subject to deal with at the moment, thus I am also expected to do better without highly stressing out.
"Don't put your umbrella up before it rains" was mention twice in the article, as most students tend to stress out and combat negative thoughts and feelings weeks before the "big" day. Again, I've taken in everyone's advice (mostly) and compiled em' in my piggybank of knowledge* Knowing VCE isn't the end of the world, stressing out isnt all bad, failing isnt all bad.. really helps us students to be at a clear&peaceful state of mind.
"failure is an event, not a person"
"You're never a failure"
"nervous feelings are normal and helpful in the lead-up to an exam"
"Never try, Never fail"
In every stage in life, difficulties need to be dealed with; In every stage in life, failure is encountered; In every stage in life, lessons are learnt.
Circle of life by Elton John. Look it up and reflect on the lyrics.. you'll be amazed of how much impact it has on you...
