I'm still Me

How I miss the times when I could freely express myself on this blog and not bother how others might think or feel… Or how I would be judged on based on comments I’ve made.. I miss being that foolish highly emotional child worrying about family affairs, relationships and everything I’ve come across in life.. Today, I can’t do that anymore.. Today, I am a responsible, mature, young lady who strives to achieve, and will stop at nothing to reach my goals. I’m still me, I just don’t ramble as much as I used to.

First Round Offers

Yes, I'll be attending the University of Melbourne this year!
Although I was hoping to get into RMIT for Bachelor of Architecture, but second on my preference list doesn't sound too bad (: Bachelor of Environments and majoring in Architecture the following year, and after three years of Bachelor of Environments then Master of Architecture. It still takes me to the same destination but on a different path... (: I still get to be an Architect/Artist! Which is exactly what I've hoped for...
Melbourne Uni, here I come ^.^

2011 so far...

Special effects on lifecam ^^
I look like those dolls with massive googly eyes!

I know, I know I ought to be out there dancing in the rain, enjoying the holidays while I still can...
But like I said before (the post on Melbourne arrival) there's just so much to do, Art Class curriculum for this year (a tad late but I can do it!), a promise I made to myself to read about Architecture, Interior Architecture at least 30 minutes everyday, personal investments, and my job at the restaurant, oh not to mention.. Evaluating on my business, the marketing, operational and financial plan of the art class. I really shouldn't blabber on too much, but you get the drift. (:

Last year was a good year for my art class, one lesson per week grew to two lessons! Course goals were established, and the children definitely enjoyed their time in Dancingcanvas Art and Craft. It's seriously more than just the establishment of courese goals, instructions for students, and organizing of materials... Last year was a good year, given the circumstance of VCE and still maintaining the growth of Dancingcanvas art class. But this year will be a better year ^^ A business do not plan to fail, but it fails to plan. A good Art Class is tied with a good curriculum; A good business is married to passion, persistence, and self discipline. It can be done, you just have to have the confidence. (:

How has everybody's 2011 been so far? I hope it has been great for you all as it has for me.

A new storage trolley I bought for the students this year (apart from materials)

beautiful isn't it?

Life is seriously like this 10 drawer chrome trolley.
Our life is a mess without planning and organization
Taking that step further might just save you a heap of time, money, equipment and labor
It's about doing things right, and doing the right things.

Who would you rather be?

Mummy and I had a fairly interesting conversation on our way back home today....

The fact of having a family of five but with daddy living overseas, has brought us (mummy, me, and both my sisters) much closer, mummy tells us everything, and so do we... Despite the little PMS moments which we share... We're generally very open in terms of boys, studies, love, and most importantly, family matters.

On our way back home today, the conversation of Julia Gillard as Australia's very first female Prime Minister came about... I questioned mummy if she would rather spend her entire life striving for success, just as Julia Gillard has.. with a "partner" alongside her, but no children (correct me if I'm wrong with this, it's just an assumption) OR to be a stay-at-home-mum, sacrificing your life for the children, dedicating your time and life towards nurturing your children. A simple concept of loving someone, and to be loved in return.
Supernatural love for the family.

Her answer was.. "I'd rather dedicate my time for the family"

I've always thought otherwise, to achieve success from one's ability.. and to strive for a sense of accomplishment (just as my daddy has) I look up to my father, despite having daddy living overseas most of his life, and the memories we've shared throughout the years... have been very little. I know for a fact that he loves us. Despite the little memories we share throughout teenagehood... my childhood with daddy has been very fulfilling.

To be like my dad or my mum? Or be like Julia Gillard?

All I know is...

When I'm at the age of 60...... I want a husband, and my beautiful children beside me.

A moment to reflect...

It's been exactly one week since I blogged.. How's everyone's holidays been? Mine's been rather exhausting... Working five shifts a week, and movie marathan for two days straight. Laughs Out Loud. This is exactly how my holiday went... Watched The Proposal, Anastacia, Hercules, My Sister's Keeper, Sky High, Another Cinderella Story, Happily Never After 2 (Snow White) over the two days... While teens my age, go for movies and have an awesome foursome time, I strongly insist of going for random tours and art galleries. Seriously movies in theatres are such rip offs. Aud 10.00 merely for 2 hours. That money could've been spent in 2 Op Shop Tops! :) which would definately last for more than 2 hours.

But that's just my theory. (:

Exactly in a week till I head back to Malaysia, roundabouts 2 more weeks till Christmas, 3 more weeks till the end of 2009, and 8 more weeks till school reopens. I'm counting down the days till doomsday. In preparing for "Doomsday" also known as.. The beginning of VCE Term 1 of 2010, there are heaps of preperation involved. Which most of my friends are aware of... Everyone's getting private tutor at home and while their on Vacation. Freaky isn't it? It's VCE.

Although I failed to live up to my dreams in getting into Top Arts 2009. I've achieved and have commited myself in both Art and Visual Communication this year.. which was ultimately rewarded with... A Aud900 SCHOLARSHIP to the University of Tasmania :) SummerschoolScholarship <- Link Link! Indeed so *smiles widely* I'll be away from the 9th of January up till 25th of January. Three weeks of independant living with no parents, family, nor friends :( Although I might be travelling from Launceston to Hobart on the 23rd after Summerschool finishes :) It'll be hectic, and hopefully fun. A new chapter of my life awaits......

As this week might possibly be my last week at Wendy's before my trip back to Malaysia (: I'll type up a post mainly on Work @ Wendy's further nextweek. Working at Wendy's has been undeniably fun! Serving little children, Grannies to loving couples.. It's nice when the right person's in charge of the job. Managers are off limits; Supervisors are in. :) While the scenario of working at Wendy's is Manager (related to the owner), and Supervisor (High School drop out) Working with the Supervisor is undoubtedly heaps more fun than Mr Tight-Ass Manager. :) Let truth be told.
Apart from work, I've been pretty caught up with plans for 2010. There are some thoughts on setting up an official Art Class on Weekdays and Weekends. But the idea+plan has yet been refined.
Driving in year 2010 is a must! Everyone has taken their Learners Test, and earning their 120 hours worth of driving . Where does that place me? In total humiliation. I'm 17 turning 18 in March 2010.. Yet the only one without a Learners permit. ): Have no fear, Learner's Permit Test is near! :) that rhymed~ Yes yes yes Learners Perimit test is on Thursday! :)

Some images of Chinese Architecture.
An inspiration from different continents of the world, Although I am unsure of the culture and religion which we share.. The perception from different nation yet "borrowing" some elemets here and there. I will be using different cultures as a decorative element rather than a revolutionary of the eye....

The video above gave me the hibbie jibbies.

I love the fact that He released all of him to praise God despite the fact that it's a competition. He took on the courage to praise God, and that is amazing!! I bet every single student undertaking a VCE 3&4 subject is very much stressing out from the final year exams, myself included. Unfortunately while others find motivation from stressing, the way I'd usually process under pressure is... cry, sleep, wake up and feeling extremely guilty after. Hence, I'd rather not stress at all at this stage.

On the flip side, revising on Art for 2-3 hours daily has been extremely helpful (: I've been able to improve on my vocabulary in terms of art terminology. For instance, Chiaroscuro is the technique of using Light and Shade in pictorial representation (Visuals) Smart Cookie I am (:

In reality, money is possibly the solution to everything. At heart, only God is able to fill the gap.

It wasn't too long ago, when Art took hold of my every minute of every hour. As foolish as it might sound, I refused to go to God for His strength, His wisdom, because I felt the need to take hold of my future than to leave it in the hands of God.

"The chances are too risky, I can manage this within my own strength"

It was a difficult experience of which I've gone through, despite the fact that everyone around me was calling out for God, standing alongside praying for me through letter and conversations. It was as if God himself was speaking through them.......

Tonight I wish you all the best! :) ~God bless

Artworks are up!

My artworks~

Jessica Chu's work
Oil-Paint on canvas.
Jade Cho's work
"Just a Little Bit of Fun"
(Epic fail with photography)
Acrylic, Oil, coloured pencils, coloured pens, black ball pen, ink, and coffee for the finishing touch.
Here I've explored the portraiture of my grandma in various mediums, I've decided on this approach as an attempt of experimentation yet having fun while making art. Did that make any sense? This work is titled as just a little bit of fun because it opens to interpretation. This enables the viewer to decide it's meaning for itself. For different techniques are used for different purposes, the meanings and messages lies within the eyes of the viewer.

Coloured-pencil self-portrait
A self-portrait completed in coloured pencils. Although I've received various comments on this artwork. Such as, "This looks nothing like you," OR "You look prettier than this" OR " Is this your dad". My hair in completely tied back while still wearing the Waverley Christian College uniform. My eyebags and dirty fingers are emphasized. My slanted eyes along with the eyebags emphasizes the tiredness and exhaustion I've been through with Art. The dirty fingers symbolizes my journey with Art. Despite the dirty fingers, and the tired eyes. I remain focus. The positioning of the hands near my lips, shows a sense of worry, tension, tiredness, but I remain focus.
Aging beauty (1)
This is a side-angled portraiture of my grandma, I've attempted to draw my grandma in charcoal whilst having to smudge the base to create light and shade. The beauty my grandma holds in hardly recognised in today's society. To an extent where my grandma herself would not classify herself as being "beautiful" . Little does she know, "everything has it's beauty, but not everyone sees it"
Charcoal portraiture
Aging beauty (2)
Charcoal in scribble technique
I've used a different style with this portraiture of my grandma. Here I've restricted myself from smudging, but to create depth through lines. The lines on my grandma's face is hardly visible in this photo. But layers and layers of scribbly lines has been done to create such effect. I have chosen with this approach, as the lines on her face symbolizes her wrinkles, and the wrinkles has a deeper meaning, wrinkles in a way.. gives away her true age. And that is the worst fear many women. But in the perspective of Art, I see this as beauty. These lines symbolizes her wisdom, her experiences, her legacy. They're prints on her face that screams "BEAUTY"and they are truly beautiful... when my grandma speaks, she speaks of wisdom.
Etching no.2
"Aging beauty 3"
This etch is slightly different from my previous etch. Her collar is more feminine compared to the previous etch. Her face is more detailed. and the mistake of my previous etch has been corrected. (: This is my third etching piece that I've done. As the previous two were attempts that led to this etch. This etch emphasizes alot more on the wrinkles on her face yet balancing the etch with a slight feminity with collar.
Goache paint on paper.
Mariana's work
The beautiful one, Mrs McKercher. (:
Design Technology
Visual Communication Architectural model
Here it is everyone, My work I've completed all throughout the year. Although they are heaps more, but I've only chosen afew which I felt was worthy of being displayed in presentation night. (: (& the limited amount of artworks we were allowed to exhibit) VCE Art has been exhausting, but utterly satisfying. I know I won't look back in regrets, as I've achieve the goals I've set to achieve at the start of 2009. Good news is, I might be doing Studio Art in 2010!! :) More fun~~
This journey has definately been bittersweet. Bitter during the progression of Art, Sweet as it has finally paid off. the analogy of No pain, No gain fits in perfectly. Both teachers have been the absolute best in encouraging and supportive of my progression with Art. With Art, I have been able to be challenged constantly, climbing up the ladder...
"Take hold of the opportunities ahead"
Another month till examination, Another couple of months till the life of year 12 begins...
Take hold of the opportunities ahead, is a piece of advice I have to my readers. Don't stand where you're at, as the world is changing rapidly. Stopping for a split second would only hold you back......

Video Blog

Technically I only have 1 more day to complete 4 of my resolutions, although I've completed 5 all throughout the year, which includes, research, inspiration, development and refinement. Now leaving 2 oilpaint portraits, 1 soft pastel sketch and 1 coloured pencil sketch. I am at a "ohmygosh- I'm so screwed" stage, but.. If I can get through this... This challenge would definately be a major achievement for me. (: Hence, I'll leave you here with a videoblog~

Enjoy watching, I'm getting back to art in a early Sunday morning!

Schooling Life

Another insightful post coming up!

Laughs Out Loud. I'd find myself yawning while reading my fellow peers blog if no photos are attached.Personally if there are no images nor colours in a blogpost, it is classified as a boringpost. Despite the clever use of words, ladiblahblahblah. Words do not appeal to a seventeen year old, colours and images do.. Wonder why pictures speak louder than words? lol.
Unfortunately this is, yet another "Dear Diary" post, I'd love to type out my thoughts every now and then.. It's awesome to reflect upon oneself, and read back the thoughts I once had, and my development since then...
I've subconsciously placed this blog so close to my heart, it would be weird if a passer-by so happens to drop by and would know my innermost thoughts on life. I wouldn't mind, really...

The truth is, I am not the "social-butterfly" as I was months ago, hence no images to upload.

The truth is, I have been bombarded with assignments, and if not... busy with art every hour of the day, I would post up my progession in art. But I'd rather keep it private till the 15th of October. -Presentation Night.

Be patient, I'm sorry!

Part 1// Thoughts on Schooling Life.

I've recently just realised... How dull I am as a person. Lol. Despite my loud, "snortish-laugh" around my fellow peers, the other aspect of my personality is... extremely unbelievably dull. LOL. believe it or not. I guess, it could be interpreted as focus, to some extent...

Life has been soo dull over the past couple of weeks, as a friend of mine said. "If you choose art or visual communication" It simply means ur risking your social life, cos you wouldn't have a life at all. Well, guess what.. I'm the only student in school who's taking up both Art and Visual Communication. That explains everything.

There goes my social life.

part 2// Thoughts of schooling life.

I think I'm in love with my teacher. Yes, someone PLEASE slap me in the face. I can't believe I just said that.

But I did. :)
Over the past couple of weeks, without a doubt I've enjoyed every moment of life. Working hard. Pushing myself to the full extent. I am satisfied. But exhausted. Literally. I'd hop onto the bed and collapse. I'd sometimes collapse in tears...

Life just isn't exciting anymore is it?

But after hours and hours of work... the slightest praise from teachers would easily uplift my spirit. As I know, someone has recognized my effort.

Turning up in Visual Communication on Monday but rushing through Art, was the most "courageous" stunt I've ever pulled off. Mr Martinez didn't mind. He'd question me, but after listening to my reasoning... (Art Visual Diary handed in on the day) He could relate to my love for art, hence allowed me to quickly finish up my annotation.
Mr Martinez was slightly dissapointed in me for the lack of effort in Visual Communication. Seeing as I was miles behind my fellow peers, and I was (unfortunately) the only student in class who'd still be at Inspirational-Development Stage. But with Art out of the way for the entire week, I've had the opportunity to work on my Wheel Chair design, in a completely fresh mindset.

"Sherry, You're designs are Pro"
"Sherry, Do you not know how Pro you're designs are?"
"I have dreams about your work Sherry, their either really good or really bad"
"I've said this before, You are one of the best naturally gifted people I've seen"
"You can easily be in Top Designs next year, and really you should be aiming to be the best in Top Designs"
- Visual Communication Teacher
"Your quite a talented one, aren't you?"
"Sherry, you are very talented and gifted"
"You can be in Top Arts, if you finish your resolutions in time"
- Art Teacher
I am overwhelmed with such comments, sometimes.. the feeling of... "Would I ever live up to their expectation" creeps in...

Part 3// Thoughts on schooling life
A friend. Who's stood by me all throughout my journey of ups, and downs, highs and lows, yet still loves me nonetheless.
A friend. Who's understood and put up with my pmsing all throughout the hectic lifestyle of this seventeen year old.
A friend. Who never fails to enlighten my day
An awesome friend indeed, Thanks PC (:

Spring is Here!

A tad late for this, but Spring is here!
Any of you (me) still potato-coaching back home thinking, I'll lose 5 pounds when the weather starts to get warmer. stay where you're at, and give yourself a smack in the head! Because it's been two whole weeks since Spring began, and that mindset would NOT take you anywhere but... the kitchen digging for more food.

Shake off the winter rust, and rejoice! Because Spring is here!

Just a quick blog post before I head on with Art. Unquestionably, Undeniably, so.. Art has taken up three quarters of my time, along with work, school, and assignments. Grr.. isn't it frustrating when there's so much to do, yet so little time. Theres hardly anytime for procrastination either. But as Kat mentioned in my comment below, (thanks Kat) Turn our eyes to Jesus. I've got much to learn, as far as anything goes. Life, God, the Bible, and Art.
In the midst of neglecting my blog, Life has been pretty amusing despite working all day/ :)
I'm currently a trainee at work, -Wendy's milkshakes and icecream. There's really more to this job than meets the eye.. Opening and closing stores, janitorial duties, serving customers, refilling the soft serve machines, making the soft serves, making sausage rolls, refilling the ice-creams, and washing the dishes! As for school? Art just creeps into my mind all throughout the day, how am I meant to hand in all my annotations and visual diary by tomorrow? and yet taking time out to blog here? Well Blogging is optional. And I am in need for some "blogging-time".
Neglecting my blog has... been... well... I haven't had the time to reflect on life, neither have I been praying.
In our current generation, we're so easily swayed into the busy-ness of life. It seems almost impossible to take some time out for God, I've always always been told, take some time out, spend some time with God, and everything will start to make sense. It's refreshing, and beautiful... To not focus so much on oneself, but to the bigger, more powerful Creator. Yet difficult. Speaking from experience, when one's caught up in the midst of everything. It's indeed hard to admire the beauty of life. As everything begins to go downhill.
Well...
Yes LiFe. VCE. aRt. CaReer. FutUrE. is all important in the eyes of many.
It's tough to step back from such selfish mindset, but today I challenge myself....

Dear diary,

I haven't done any Art all day. It's both frustrating and disappointing at this point, the amount of effort I've put into art all throughout the year and it all comes down to this.. My final art pieces. The resolution of the ideas I've resolved, refined and developed. It's so grr frustrating at this point, as VCE tends to give the impression of "do or die" If your enter isn't impressive, there's no chance of you having a good future. I've been told that isnt't true. Realisticly, I guess.. even a career as a janitor could earn a living. I have all the passion in the world to do art, I know I enjoy art despite the fact that I'm good at it. I love expressing myself on paper creatively. I very much enjoy refining my works and enhancing the quality of artworks I produce. I love receiving the compliments and appreciation from my peers. But being able to achieve the quality of an artwork in such a short period of time, seems somewhat impossible at this point. I've lost all the confidence in the world, I know given the time.. I can do this~
Enough with procrastination, I'm off for more Art...
lots of love, Sherry

my heart & soul

I love teaching my sister to draw. No boundaries, draw how you feel. Though I did remind her to draw what she sees, when it came to observational drawing (points to the portrait of me above). Experimenting on different methods using oil pastels, whilst she was having fun on her own.. I did a couple of sketches of my own too...

Art. A passion placed closely to my heart...

I don't say this enough but Art IS my life. I draw in buses, in the library, while waiting at the bus stop, though I haven't posted any of my sketches here... I've filled two of my sketchbooks merely on bus sketches. :) It's a sweet escape from reality, solitary moment, isolating myself from a chaotic world, a world with dissatisfaction, negativity, and greed.

So from the previous two posts, It is clear that I was feeling down, fear, discouraged, encouraged, and all sorts of other feelings.. In my opinion, life is....

Love life and life will love you back. Love people and they will love you back.

What everyone wants from life is continuous and genuine happiness.

Life's challenges are not supposed to paralyze you, they're supposed to help you discover who you are.

Life is like an onion: You peel it off one layer at a time, and sometimes you weep

Life is the flower for which love is the honey

Life is everything above and more... Life is unquestionably, confusing, depressing, frustrating, a dump, only when you want it to be.

(it's always hard typing out my feelings, as I'd normally do it in art lol)

So, what have I covered so far? *scrolls up* Yes! I was at a stage of "hating life" in the last few weeks, "hating" in terms of... "sigh, I don't know what else is there to do, I'd run away from home, but I have no money..." I was living in fear pretty much, in fear of the consequences of somethings that I've done. In that period of time, I had my phone taken away from me and thankfully not the internet.

With my phone taken off me, I've realised... I was needed in everyone's life., I wasn't a noone, I was needed in this world, called for a purpose as some would say... Instead of phoning a friend, I was staying up till 6am, talking to my sister.

No it's not as bad as it seem! Listening to my sister definately drew us closer, she offered her heart to me, in wish I could heal her with words of wisdom.

I felt a connection between us, a sister longing to be answered, and a sister with the answers.

As the bible says,

Matthew 11:29 -"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."

"Love life and life will love you back, Love people and people will love you back"

"life is the flower, and love is the honey"

At every point in life, we long to be loved. It is within our nature to have this longing, however for every love comes with a price. When was the last time, you felt love and then came hurt?

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
-- 1 Corinthians 13:13

In the bible God said so himself, "love" is the greatest for it is patient, love is kind.It does not envy.Love is never boastful, nor conceited, nor rude;It is not self-seeking, nor easily angered. It keeps no record of wrongdoing. It does not delight in evil,But rejoices in the truth. It always protects, trusts, hopes, and preserves. There is nothing love cannot face; There is no limit to its faith, hope, and endurance. In a word, there are three things that last forever:Faith, hope, and love; But the greatest of them all is love.

The reason of our ongoing hurt comes down to our misinterpretation of love.

Love is found in all areas in life, among familiy and friends...

Within the past couple of months, I felt very limited love from my mum and sister, hence turning to my friends for love, (keep in mind I know where my boundaries stand :) Talking to friends made me feel appreciated, and being around the presence of friends felt good. Although I saw no issues with my life, there indeed was. The miscommunication between my family and I has caused countless of unneccessary arguments, then causing me to dial up a familiar number for "ring-a-ding-ding" time.

With the family not putting themselves in my position, I felt... the need to ignore reality, little did I know, that was the root of all problems. With me tucking under my blanket, talking on the phone. I was just avoiding to confront. I'd rather tuck under my blanket, than to go up to my mum, and tell her that I'm hurt.

& praying works!

I remember praying once, I prayed for understanding for both my parents, to soften their hearts, to be able to speak to them through me, unlike the times where I'd think "meh, stuff this" God, gave me the wisdom to type up an email even I myself wouldn't have thought of writing such an email.

Both my parents aren't mad now, there is nothing love cannot face, the love of God, the love of a family, and love of friends.

Misinterpretation of Love, is poorly worded.

Love holds a certain level of depth to everyone, putting ourselves out there to love without a moral compass, shows a sense of vulnerability. Without our moral compass to guide us, the deep longing within us, deep hunger longing to know the human other will go out of hand. We live in a society, where it's chaotically busy.. First VCE, then tutor, followed by assignments, before we know it.. comes SAC. Hence, the need of getting noticed and loved arises, the hunger of human connection. Even when we're totally content, there is a hunger in our soul.

I've been told this twice throughout my life,

When one gets emotionally and sexually attached with someone else, and they part from each other. Part of you gets taken away...

And this involves getting hurt and the loss of trust upon others, it all ties in... to the understanding of love, and knowing love can be found not just from the human "other" but within family and friends. :)

Untitled

Imitating Jansen's look of playing the DS

Thought I'd make this post a personal one.

Lately, I've been trying out this new thing...

To see the positive side of people.

With the late night sleeps from exams, everything or would I say... Everyone's been getting on my nerves. From a passer-by, to some school's random, and then a friend. I've been focusing on just one aspect of people, the side which I choose to see. Immediately catergorizing them to, jerk, stuck-up, kiss-up, eventually distancing myself from people I once thought were my friends. Well, being judgemental obviously didnt make me feel better about myself nor did it benefit me in any other way. Despite the fact that, I'm no better than any of these people.. I've subconcsciously planted in a whole lot of negativity and judgemental views upon myself.

"it's better to gain a friend, then to make an enemy"

Even if you do not like that person? You'd rather pretend to be nice rather than telling them upfront that how much you dislike them?

Isn't that just plain fake? Unfortunately our world revolves around this mentality. But there is some truths to that statement, We can be nice and not fake to those we dislike, by changing our views of them. Which I'm now beginning to understand...

"When the going gets tough, I go running"

Sadly, I'm still living by that saying.

I hate to admit the fact that I'd rather hide in my room, than to help my mum out with the dishes just so that I won't have to take a look at her. My mum and I have had countless of disagreements throughout the years, but lately... we've been giving each other the "silent treatment". (A whole new level of argument, not arguing at all)

And the cause of all this? simple.

She says hurtful things, I turn away, She thinks I'm not listening, Yells even louder, I am then completely zoned out.

This is the cycle of my mum's relationship and I.

Goodnight.

Kate & I

Tim & I
Kylie (:
Gina & I

so What's New? ;)

First and foremost, thanks to Jolene for organizing this gathering! Must've taken alot of effort passing around the invites on msn. Well done Jolene! (:
So it was Chinese School Gathering today, meeting up with friends I've not caught up with in awhile.. Thanks Jolene!
It was a nice catch up, met a couple of new faces, and got to know a couple of them a little better..
Time does not stop for anyone. Seeing as everyone's moved on with their life pretty well, and some coping just fine.. As I reflect upon myself, (No not up myself, just finding it most effective conveying the message using me as example)
I guess after grocery shopping, rushing back home to turn off the stove, then busing back to Knox was utterly draining. I'm finding it really hard just to keep focus as I'm currently typing this up...
However this thought steering within me, awaiting to be heard (read in this case).. I am feeling the need to blog, but unlike other blogs. This will be under the catergory of thoughts/insight.
I'm really tired.
So mind the simple use of vocab, or random thoughts here and there.
Ahaha, absolutely pointless in saying that. But... it adds a little more flavour to this post knowing it's gonna be based merely on my thoughts about life, unfortunately.
As we opened up to one another, a very very familiar quote was mentioned from my friend and I coincidently blogged about it earlier last week in "one of those moments" , "how awesome would it be to stay a kid forever" quoted my friend, but not in the exact words..
Again this reminds me of a conversation between another friend and I yesterday..

"Disney movies and lovey dovey scenes are so unrealistic, and movies like these are encouraging the unrealistic mindset upon people like us" (again not in the exact words, but I can't be bothered thinking back now)
Just because there isn't any happy endings in reality, Does not exactly mean that there isn't the existence of love?
"Plenty of fishes in the sea"
Possibly mentioned more than 5 times in this blog.
"Until you value yourself, you won't value your time. Until you value your time, you will not do anything with it. "

It is within our nature in longing to feel loved, whether if it's through the latest trend, magazine that sells, or through people. But little did we know, love is conditional. It requires something off you, a handbag would cost you your money, a magazine would cost you useless information, and a guy? Your trust, your time, and your wallet.

I'm speaking from experience, it might or might not be right...
This is so awkward. As I read it through the second time, it didn't make sense at all.. One moment, I encourage love, and the other I don't. To sum that all up, I guess.. my message for today is...
Love will come eventually, don't look too far, don't search too deep... we're all still young. ;)
